The Lioness Journey

When understanding is not enough

A gentle six-week path of practical ways to carry your grief, and a circle of women to keep walking with afterward.

Understanding your grief is one thing. Living with it, on an ordinary Tuesday, is another.

The Lioness Journey is for the woman who has begun to feel her grief and now wants something to do with it. Not to fix it. Not to hurry it. Simply gentle, practical ways to carry what she is carrying.

She is a lioness because she is strong and she is tender, and she never has to choose between the two.

The six weeks

The weeks have an order. Your grief does not. Take six weeks, or six months. Nothing here expires, and nothing is waiting to be finished.

Week One · The Gentle Start

Begin softly. Journaling, meditation, mindful movement, photography and song, offered as pathways to honour your grief and open your heart.

Week Two · Try It On for Size

Now we try them. A page of writing. A magical meditation. Some mindful movement. An inspired photo shoot. And finding healing through song.

Week Three · Be the Hero of Your Own Movie

Step into your own strength. Practise self-distancing, build coping strategies, create the mantras that steady you, and draw on role models and circles of support.

Week Four · The Simplicity of Love

Finding the path forward. Learning to forgive. And most of all, offering yourself the kindness you would offer any other grieving mother.

Week Five · The Journey Goes On

The Lioness Journey does not end in six weeks, and neither does your grief. You will keep growing, healing, forgiving and finding peace for the rest of your life.

Week Six · Beginning to Smile Again

Celebrate the day you notice your smile returning. Capture it in words, photographs, music and small moments of joy. Because as you keep walking, you are creating a legacy of love.

What will be different

Connections that heal

Feel supported by women who understand. Through shared reflections and circles of influence, you discover you are not walking this alone.

A smile returning

Perhaps the most beautiful outcome of all. That first smile after grief feels impossible, until it quietly returns and you realize healing has been unfolding.

Deeper self-compassion

You learn to treat yourself with patience, to celebrate small wins, and to soften the voice inside that has been so hard on you.

A new way of seeing

Grief will not vanish. But the lens shifts, from despair toward possibility, growth and renewal.

Strength you can trust

Real coping tools, mantras and strategies that give you steady ground on your hardest days.

A heart that feels lighter

You release what you have been carrying alone, and find relief in safe expression, and space for gentleness.

You are not being asked to move on. You are being offered ways to carry it.

If the cost is a barrier for you right now, you are warmly invited to ask about a Daisy Scholarship. You belong here, whether you can pay today or not.

Before you decide

Held by Daisy is companionship, education and community. It is not therapy, and it is not clinical care.

If your grief is heavy enough that it is taking your sleep, your appetite, or your ability to get through a day, please reach for a grief therapist as well. Those are two different kinds of help, and you are allowed to need both.

And if now is not the time, that is completely all right. The door will still be open.
